Abuse Reporting
Reporting abuse or safety concerns
ScriptLife takes abuse and safety seriously. If you encounter content or behaviour on the platform that concerns you, this page explains what to report and how.
What to report
- Content that appears harmful, abusive, or inappropriate for its audience rating
- Youth Safe content that should not have passed moderation or that was shared inappropriately
- Scripts or generated audio used to impersonate a real person without their consent
- Attempts to circumvent access controls or passcode protections
- Copyright-infringing content (also see the DMCA and copyright page for formal takedown procedures)
- Any other behaviour that violates the terms of service
What to include in a report
The more detail you provide, the faster the team can investigate. Where possible, include:
- A description of what you saw and why it concerns you
- The share link or script identifier if available
- Whether the content was accessed through a Youth Safe link
- Screenshots or copied text if you can capture them safely
- Whether you believe the concern involves minors or vulnerable people
How reports are handled
During the closed beta, abuse reports are reviewed by the ScriptLife team. We may:
- Disable sharing on the reported content
- Remove access to the reported content
- Suspend the account responsible for the content
- Escalate to law enforcement if there is an immediate safety risk
We do not guarantee a specific response time, but safety concerns, especially those involving Youth Safe content or minors, are prioritised.
Youth Safe safeguards
ScriptLife applies additional protections to Youth Safe content:
- Scripts are checked by an automated moderation gate before generation
- Sharing is always private and passcode-only
- An AI-generated performance disclosure is shown on every Youth Safe playback page
- The adult account holder is responsible for all Youth Safe content and sharing decisions
- Moderation overrides by the account holder are logged with identity and timestamp
Urgent safety concerns
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services directly. ScriptLife is not an emergency service and cannot respond to time-critical safety situations in real time.
